Finally I have the time to sit down and do some blogging.
Let’s Start with the RAWartists AWAKENING show on Feb 27th 2014.
I have never in my life felt so much love and support. This was the first time I've ever done an art show, and it was a blast. The venue got filled to Capacity twice!
I gave away a bunch of cards, so much positive feedback from other artists as well as patrons. So many of my friends made it out, to show me love. It was amazing.
I can't wait for my next one.
RAWartists is all about artists helping artist, and I full support that. Especially because of the town I'm in you can barely even get noticed by other artist you admire, or just are your peers. It was so refreshing, and just the overall experience made me confident, and full of energy.
I sold some prints to some amazing Philanthropists.
Joann of Fluffer Designs kept buying me wine; my partner came to support me, my parents, and my friends from Toronto. Even in the freezing cold. People were waiting outside for over an hour, in -30 weather.
The Venue looked amazing, Alexandra, the coordinator made it look amazing, she worked so hard, and organized so many creative individuals. Truly a special evening to remember.
At the end of the night I was pooped, I sprained my ankle the past week, and it was killing me. My awesome mom stayed and she drove me home with all my work. Sleep was so good that night.
The next say I was off to Burlington to spend the night, before my partner, his mother and I caught a plane at 3am to head down to Austin TX.
Austin is pretty neat, unfortunately we weren’t staying inside the city, and we stayed in a cottage about 45 min away, near my mother in laws friend’s trailer. Derek and Janice were so kind, and considerate. They welcomed us all so openly. I truly enjoyed their company.
We did a lot of things, Cave exploration, watched the Congress bats erupted from the bridge that was probably my most favorite thing we did in Texas. The colony is only 750 000 right now due to the weather, but to watch them come out a fly along the tree line was remarkable. I would do that again in a heartbeat. In Texas we also saw Willie Nelson preform, walked down 6th street, visited the “Worlds Weirdest Museum”. Went to this crazy amazing taxidermy shop, called The Corner Shoppe, we went to a Rodeo, ate some of the BBQ I’ve ever had in my life. We also discovered this amazing shop of East Congress called the Uncommon finds. It was set up beautifully, and just the amount of random works, and antiques was such a sight. You could spend hours in that store just wandering around admiring the set up, and weird objects you can find. We also went to the Alamo, and did a river walk in San Antonio, we went to the LBG Ranch, and to this little historic down called Guene, it has the first dance hall in America, which is pretty cool, and all the greats have played there. It’s amazing the history behind this little white building. People must have drove for hours and hours just to get there, so they could dance. Amazing.
After Austin we drove over to Louisiana, to send some time in New Orleans. And Let me just say, if you ever travel to the states; make New Orleans at least a 4 day stop. We took a ghost walking tour, a cemetery tour, a jazz cruise down the Mississippi. My love and I wandered the French quarter for hours just enjoying the beauty of the architecture and the odd shops. We went to the voodoo museum, we saw so many amazing musicians. Frenchman street was definitely a place to be, so much better than the grubbiness of Bourbon Street. However, we did enjoyed bourbon street, it wasn’t horrible, just Frenchman was better. This was the first time I’ve ever ripped the head off a shrimp. We met this Canadian guy and his family at our hotel, and we got free seafood. Hahaha. The shrimp I had was cold, but cooked in the most amazing Cajun spices. It had this mouth-watering taste and warmth too it. Damn was that good. New Orleans Is filled with so many things, my love and I also tried Moonshine martinis at this Oyster bar near Jackson square, firstly, the bartender was just bad ass, secondly, you only need 3 and you’re drunk. They were so delicious; mine was a Cherry Moonshine Martini. It was a shame we couldn’t find a bottle or two to bring back. SO if anyone ever goes to the US and thinks so me, please please please, bring me some Cherry Firefly Moonshine.
This trip was pretty amazing, I couldn’t tell you everything because it would take house, but be sure to be on the lookout for some images to come.
Well that’s about all there is to update for now. I will be announcing an awesome event, Fluffer Designs and I will be having at the end of April, as well as a Pin up Special for the spring!
I have an Awesome new logo thanks to my wonderful friend Carrie. She helped me with all my OCD on designing it. She truly rocks.
She has a clothing line, which will be debuing soon.

I just received an e-mail from a man looking to get a awesome boudoir shoot. I loved the idea, and I was ready to rock.
I write out my message in return to him, and his e-mail was incorrect. Such an easy typo to make, it's just too bad. It was one of the form entries, that I you fill in on the contact and area page on this website, that I get directly to my e-mail.
To all who read this, and do send me an e-mail with a question about anything, please write your e-mail properly so I can get back to you. I love getting your questions, and kind comments. You honestly make my days. :)
To the man who sent me the e-mail the other day, and you read this message, please e-mail my back. I'm not being rude and not e-mailing you, I tried twice. I would love to do the shoot you had planned out. I feel so rotten that I can't get a hold of you. Please message me directly at Breilaroserathlou@gmail.com. I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
Hope all is well you Bombshell beauties.
p.s. Of course I had to come back and edit my e-mail because of a typo. Jeeze.
I'm a Photographer based out of Southern Ontario. I hope my work speaks for itself.
