I've said it before, and I will say it again, I'm probably one of the worst people out there to have a blog. I know I should write more, but I never find the time. However, when I do have the time, I just don't want to. Not that I'm not interested with sharing my life with the world, it's just not something I'm use to doing.
So here it goes a quick update till walking dead starts in 15 minutes. :P I've been so lucky to get published quite a few more times, with amazing magazine such as Missy Ink, Delicious Dolls Magazine, Gorgeous Freaks Magazine, Cynical Fashion and Kai'outi Magazine. Each publication truly lifts my heart, and makes me feel accomplished, I know I'm still not as popular as the millions of other amazing artists out there, but I like to think I'm working my way up. I also recently applied to RAW artists, and got accepted! My heart is on fire! I get to be part of an art show on Feb 27th at the Revival Bar in Toronto. This is my first art show, and I'm nervous, and excited, and scared, but it's all a good scared, and challenge, and change. It's nothing but progress. With being a part of RAW, I get to be in two art shows this year, two, and I can pick wherever I want to have them. The company is all about Artists, helping artists, which is really refreshing. I find so many artists/photographers are so closed to sharing inspirations, locations, tips, etc with others because they look to much at each other as competition. It's to much, and I find so much of that in my city. But now, meeting all these different artists, that have a passion for helping one another, I find it inspiring. We are all separate artists, we all view the same thing differently. I hope that other artists/photographers out there can find just kind people, that are willing to help, and not look onto one another as competition. I get that many of them may be competition, but that is no reason as to treat others poorly. Sorry, I strayed off topic, Come to my art show! :) I've actually managed to go through all of my work, and pick a good handful to showcase, it's going to be a mix of my Boudoir, and Creatives, as well as some Pin up work, and Horror inspirations. However, just so past clients know, I will not be using your Boudoir images for anything involving sales to others. I want to make sure, no one is worried, about me dispensing private images of you. I don't do that. I want to make sure all my clients past, present and future understand, that I want you to be comfortable even after we're out of contact. Nothing will ever be used or posted without your permission to me. This is in effect for my whole life. So no one has anything to worry about. You can buy your ticket for RAWartists Launching in Toronto here: http://rawartists.org/breilarose Be sure to stop by and say hi, I deeply appreciate your support, and love of my work, without you, I wouldn't be able to create the things I love, and express whats in my head. Cheers Breila p.s. I'll try to blog more.
